WELCOME SMOKE PITCHING/MENTAL PERFORMANCE

SMOKE Pitching and Mental Performance was founded by Wes Milburn. "Coach" Wes has developed this program through years of playing, coaching and instructing. There is NOBODY who does what we do at SMOKE. Simply put, we teach the body and mind to perform at their highest levels with training that was developed and designed to maximize potential both physically and mentally. We attack the mental part of the game as aggressively as the physical part. SMOKE builds COMPLETE pitchers of all ages and all levels through POSITIVE energy and reinforcement. If you know Coach Wes you know he is bringing the POSITIVE ENERGY! We intentionally keep the number at 30 full members and 30 additional Annual Members in order to maximize development by keeping numbers down. The SMOKE formula consists of 3 individual programs meant to build upon each other to prepare for the season ahead. The programs are designed so when the season starts you are FULLY ready. You can also choose individual program that fits your needs best! Coach Wes will be running his program at THE COMPOUND!

John Sullivan Hitting is dedicated to providing each of our hitters with individual style programs. We execute that by using tools that simply eliminates the guessing. The facility is equipped with Rapsodo, Blast Motion, HiTrax, and OnForm to assist with the process.

We are the only facility in the city that offers monthly hitting memberships. Our athletes will get a choice of memberships listed on the membership tab. Two of our experts will be in house at all times to assist with player development. Each Athlete will have access to all data captured so they can follow their progress along the way. Our space has multiple Blast Motion stations that will include sensors and Ipads. Rapsodo/HiTrax cages come with multiple big screen TVs for instant feedback . These will all be used to build our athletes profiles and create motivation to continue to grow. While we provide technology to help, our staffs #1 goal is getting to know each athlete and what makes them go!

MEET THE COACHES

John Sullivan:

John graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in West Virginia where he played baseball and earned several awards including 1st team All State. He then went on to play college baseball from there for 4 years At Potomac State College and University of the Cumberlands. John has been coaching for 16 years on all levels, including the Cincinnati Reds Organization and currently holds the position as hitting coach for the Legends National Scout team (PG top 40 team). His approach is to assist players to become the best versions of themselves through tech, competition, and the ability to self coach. John is driven to teach guys how to be more efficient during their workouts outside of his facility. We do this by using tools such Blast Motion, Krato Sports, Rapsodo, HiTrax, Groupme, and OnForm. John currently holds a spot on the facility advisory board with Blast Motion.

Nick Meyer- Softball Director

Nick graduated form Loveland High School where he played baseball and earned Division 1 All City Honors his senior year. He then went on to play middle infield at University of Rio Grande. His coaching career began in 2004 with an independent high school travel team. He has coached on many different levels including his sons Cincinnati Riverbats team and 3 years on the Sycamore High School staff. He has been learning under John for the past 2 years.
